Makerspaces in Libraries
Libraries have really become one of the focal points for young people and adults to explore creative technology over the past few years.
As a mobile makerspace, Make Create Innovate has traveled to libraries across Dublin and throughout Ireland with all the materials and equipment needed to create a pop-up makerspace. We have also been very fortunate to design and experiment with some bespoke projects thanks to the support of Fingal Libraries and Creative Ireland.
Fingal Makerspace
In 2021, Make Create Innovate was awarded the Creator & Maker in Residence Programme at Blanchardstown library. We are delighted to share that this programme has been extended to 2025, featuring the creation and growth of a community focused makerspace within Blanchardstown Library, one of Dublin’s leading makerspaces. We’ll also continue delivering innovative STEAM and maker education programmes at specifically designed to engage and inspire the Fingal community in Dublin.
