Makerspace Training
With the aim of empowering educators and institutions in Dublin and throughout Ireland, Make Create Innovate has developed an extensive Makerspace Training Programme. This programme is designed to support schools, libraries, and other learning centres interested in establishing and managing their own makerspaces. You can choose from a 1-day or 2-day introductory programme, with optional additional hands-on training days based on your needs.
Upon completing the Makerspace Training Programme, you will gain:
Practical experience in ‘making’ using various creative technologies
An understanding of the equipment and technologies ideal for your makerspace
Insights into the advantages of makerspaces and their application in your field
A guide to nurturing a community of learning that will positively influence those using the space
Awareness about the latest trends in maker education research
Additional resources supporting the planning and execution of maker activities within your makerspace.
Join us to participate in the exciting culture of STEAM education and maker-centred learning in Dublin and across Ireland.

“I've learned that I do not have to stage interventions with the children as much as I used to. Sometimes it's best to let them discover the solutions themselves and to not give them the answers. They'll learn better problem solving skills themselves rather than me problem solving for them.”
