LED Banner Workshop
Age range: 10+ to Adult
This is one of a set of STEAM-based workshops we offer that explore environmental issues and promote the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In this workshop, participants will discuss what is important to them and agree on an environmental message they would like to share. We will show them how to use LED’s to compose their message in lights for maximum visibility.
In fulfilling their brief, participants will learn all about the energy efficiency of LEDs, get an understanding of basic circuitry and practice soldering skills, all in a hands-on way. The initial discussion will enable teamwork and communication skills to develop.
